Since his first appearance in Avengers #57, The Vision has been a cornerstone of the Marvel Comics universe.

But his appeal exploded once the Iron Man movies and Avengers: Endgame turned him into a household name.

Famously, one of the Infinity Stones was embedded in The Vision's forehead.

Thanos destroyed him by plucking his stone for the Infinity Gauntlet to snap his fingers and wipe out half of the life in the universe.
