Since 1950, Deadshot has been part of the Batman universe.

His first appearance was in Batman #59. This was a one-off. Deadshot was never intended to go any further.

It would be 27 years before he returned, modernized and re-imagined and became part of the heavy rotation on the Batman villains list.

He would form part of the modern Suicide Squad, including appearances in the DC movies based on that super-villain team.
