How much are Mr Freeze comics worth in 2026?
Right at the end of the 1950s, early in the Silver Age, a new Batman villain appeared for the first time.
Arnie played Mr. Freeze in the 1997 movie Batman & RobinMr. Freeze (aka Mr. Zero) first appears in Batman #121, published in 1959.
Interestingly, two years earlier a Mr. Freeze tryout appears in Blackhawk #117.
He holds a virtually identical weapon as the Batman villain.
Fans of the original 1960s Batman TV series featuring Adam West and Burt Ward will have seen Mr. Freeze played by three actors, George Sanders, Otto Preminger and Eli Wallach.
A better-known appearance was in the 1997 movie, Batman and Robin, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
