Most Valuable Conan the Barbarian Comic Books in 2025
Conan the Barbarian predates the dawn of comic book publishing.
Conan the Barbarian comics are popular in today's collector marketHis first publication was in 1932. Created by Robert E. Howard, he went on to star in Weird Tales magazine and pulp books.
It wasn't until 1970 that Conan appeared in comics, published by Marvel.
His gory horror-story past was better served in magazine form, in the uncensored Savage Tales #1 in 1971, which included a decapitated head cover and also introduced Man-Thing.
Conan the Barbarian comic ran for a huge 275 issues, including the introduction of Red Sonja in #23.
