These were extremely popular with collectors and several appear on our list.
While this issue isn't super-rare, its value is driven by demand. There are 185 Universal and 51 signed copies of this variant comic in the CGC census.
The record sale is around 30 percent higher than the most recent sale.
But that's really not bad in the light of the pandemic bubble collapse, in which some books have fallen over 90 percent!
