This Uncanny X-Men comic by Michael Turner is subject to confusion in the CGC census. It's listed as Variant Edition in the census, but in GP Analysis sales it's listed as Sketch Cover.
They are the same book.
This popular issue has set its own record price in the most recent sale as I write this, March 2026.
There are 336 Universal and 74 signed copies in the CGC census.
That makes it quite common by variant comic cover standards, but that hasn't hurt resale values.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for this book, but the current situation is pretty bright.
