This book was once the genesis of valuable variant cover comics.
I remember seeing a retailer posting a photo with 20 copies of this book in mint condition. At $5K a pop, that's serious cash.
Now the pandemic bubble has burst, it's dropped back to lower levels of support, which is still relatively robust despite there being lots of copies out there.
There are 219 Universal and 87 signed copies in the CGC census. You will not have trouble acquiring one if you have always wanted a copy.
The most recent 9.8 sale represents a drop of 57 percent from the top of the market. Not pleasant if you bought at the summit.
At the current price level, it seems much better value. If "value" is really something you can assign to manufactured scarcity.
