For a while, all things Joker were on fire. Batman and Detective Comics with Joker covers were all the rage.

Joker's origin in Detective Comics #168 sowed the seeds for books like this one, a modern variant cover based on the Red Hood legend.

Unfortunately, nobody much cares anymore, which accounts for the steep dropoff in value of this issue.
