It seems nicely quaint now, but around ten or 15 years ago, Venom was all the rage.
Marvel put out a series of so-called "Venomized" variant comics, featuring Marvel comics characters in the throes of a conversion to Venom possession.
Several appear on the Top 100 variant comics list.
There are 88 Universal and 2 signed copies in the CGC census.
That's not especially rare, but about average for a popular variant cover.
A loss of 20 percent from the market high is actually not so bad in today's environment.
